History of the Day
In 1964, U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson signs the Civil Rights Act of 1964 meant to prohibit segregation in public places.

Word of the Day
The word is the noun "Primer", which is a small introductory book on a subject or a short informative piece of writing. This is especially for children; it derived from the Latin word "prīmus" and its variants, which means "First".

Lesson of the day: "The reader should be allowed to react naturally to the evidence presented in the story, not instructed in how to react by the author."

Notes

Just a small update:

Haven't been able to work on either SolAka, Howl, or United We Soar anytime this week. I guess I felt accomplished after SolAka and didn't feel like doing anything else afterwards for a while. Or maybe I just wasn't in the mood.

Anyways, later today may be some summaries.

Putting down this important note: I'm not fluent in Japanese and I'm not a translator, but I will try to make sense of some of it using a few online dictionaries. They seems reliable; some tiny sentences are simple. I'll go by each paragraph.
