Cyber Formula
Sep. 18th, 2014 10:17 amI came up with the idea of showing excerpt of stories using photos.

I did a fanfic based on Future GPX Cyber Formula, particularly on its OVA series "Zero". Only a few people, or at least I know about two (Car dummy Miki Shinichiro did one as well?), has done Cyber Formula fics. That is especially in English.
And since I was impressed with the series, the TV show being smart and about a boy and a machine, and the OVA being dramatic with interesting visuals (my fun slowly being thrown away like shoveled sand due to bad subs, repeated footage, and Asurada oversteering its tail nearly into a circle and passing through a curve successfully to passalso, no K-sensei...), AND since I like cars, I wanted to go for it.
( Spoilerish about ZERO series, but if you don't mind )
RC Type!
Game footage. A nice rivalry against Knight Shumacher. There's also Kaga, Shinjyo, Hayato, and I think Hiyama Nobuyuki's character, Andrea. It's hard to tell because he has a scar on his forehead. Sounds like him. BGM is Identity Crisis.

Monster Rancher 2
Jan. 23rd, 2012 08:39 amX-posted @ Doggie blog.

Happy Monday everybody, it's January 23rd. For writing, I hope for some progress. To tell you the truth, I didn't feel like doing much. I managed to type a little for the next Solaka and Howl of Gray Wolf chapters, but it was not a lot. I just lot interest temporarily, plus got occupied by family matters. So, how can I make up for it? Or rather, how can it be promised that I won't become lazy again? Am I still a bit depressed?
So, last Thursday and Friday, I got devoted to gaming, mainly for Monster Rancher 2. Also Maplestory, but not much progress. Let me tell you, I did fan-tastic in MR2. After so many years...
(Spoilers; nothing is covered up!)

If I can do this, maybe one day, I will find the GooKingSword in Breath of Fire III.

Haha, I can't really keep a promise can I? I said that I was going to write last week New Years.
Here's a little update since New Years.
I did start on the next chapter of Howl of the Gray Wolf and SolAka, but didn't get too far (around 200-300 words). BUT, I think it's enough to inspire me to keep going. I'll work on one chapter later today.
I got back to playing Monster Rancher 2 because I was determined in unlocking some monsters. A lot of them require you to combine monsters, but I don't have many strong ones to make good combs. I recently dug out the hot springs and received an Undine slate. That also means I can unlock Niton and I can seek out Zilla.
I am concerned about Zilla and Jill.
I got the Wracky Doll last year, but to prove that I still have it, I have to kill a monster. mmph...
You could say that playing MR2 restored a bit of my love of the series, so I managed to do a little writing for the HOGW chapter. I wonder how far I can go before the week's over.
If I lucky, I'll come back with another update before the day ends.

Small update
Sep. 30th, 2011 04:10 pmIcon of Joe Musashi, from the new Shinobi game that's coming. Here's a kickass trailer.
My admiration of shinobi as rekindled again. Not really because of Joe, but because of what I read. They seemed to have really lived up to their reputation as intelligence agents. When it comes to roads, they use powder or twist grass to mark their path.

Just a small update. I'll get back to "Mibuno" (Seishin story) soon. I'm still in my slump and found myself having difficulty writing. I was also pretty drained last weekend. How many times am I going to say this you wonder?
Recently went on Twitter for a short moment.
MONSTER RANCHER 2
Considering the strength of Siva (the Dragon, A-rank monster) in MR2, I now think that Jesvah's power in Howl of Gray Wolf isn't exaggerated. And I still don't understand why a dragon's card is rated "D"!
Hmm, Question/Comment BOX + Ramble
Jul. 11th, 2011 02:45 amI think Anonymous comments are allowed.
So, this is the little area for questions you want to ask me related to my works on fanfiction.net and Fictionpress.net (will be linked from profiles). I'm not into answers personal questions since I don't think I have anything impressive to reveal.
Game-related questions, such as for Monster Rancher (Farm) are possible.
Comments are okay too.
At first, I thought "Try a FAQ?"? When is a FAQ demanded? Do I have to be popular? Is this egotistical?
Maybe this will provide a good connection.
IMO, I'm glad that there is a person or two reading what I uploaded. I am thankful, even though the old Howl of Gray Wolf was badly written and I think I'm far from being a good writer, since I'm confused a lot. I keep asking myself, "What constitutes good writing?"
I look back at some chapters and think, "that doesn't look right".
Also, if you get a ton of positive reactions, you'll have trouble handling the opposite. If I'm told to have awesome stories commonly, then that means I'll stay on that rhythm for a long time, thinking that it's correct. Recently, I'm schooled on grammar, particularly word choice and expositional redundancy.

HoGW, Wiki and Gifts
Jun. 14th, 2010 09:41 pmMy Goal for this week is Howl of Gray Wolf's next chapter. I am sorry for not working on it earlier and I'm not back to my bad procrastinating habits. So I need to grab my notebook and work on the outline for the next chapter called "Decision". Also, while my stories progress, I will want to add the chapters to my Wikia.
But, I am having trouble making tables for them like what is used for TV episodes and comic volumes/chapters. What do I need to do? I hope to figure it out soon.
-----
Who is ready for videos? Videos about mostly flying? TEN videos?!
That'll get your blood burning, and I think gets me in a good mood. Also gets me in a good mood when developing United We Soar. It still bums me that I can't get that story rolling yet.

I just added this to my profile, check it out:
In Japanese, Gray Wolf's name is 『ギンギライガー』 or "gingiraiga" (Silver Raiga?); "Raiga" is Tiger in Japanese by the way. In the anime, he is the younger brother of Tiger/Raiga and is one of the Big BAD FOUR (english version) or 『ワルモン四天王』 (Japanese version; "warumon shintenou" OR Evil Mon Four Devas/Heavenly Kings).
Hooray for the dictionary! Gray Wolf is voiced by Scott McNeil in the english version and Nakamura Daiki in Japanese version.
