Hello,
Just leaving a short entry on how I'm doing. Well, my mother has been doing better and I'm constantly watching her. Mm-hmm. She's a real trooper; while I feel more relieved now, I am still busy from time to time. I'm also having a little trouble with health too. Also, haven't had time to concentrate on writing THAT MUCH.
I really want to get back since I've been getting inspired by various things such as documentaries and reading history. I've had ideas but didn't take time to write/type them down for later use. I guess I still am in a slump.
Do I still feel anxious, hesitant, to write?
I did finish "Follower of Mibuno". Did I mean to end it that way? I will admit, I found it a little frustrating to complete for such a short story. The theme is loyalty, but I had trouble with the direction. I kept making modifications to the paragraphs and I almost didn't know how to end it. But I was thinking of a 1-2 chapter sequel.
Here are current Seishin stories (as of 11/25/2011) and what they're about:
~ The Jumping Monkey (Lack of experience)
~ Autumn Grove (Death)
~ Passive Rivals (Ambiguous discontent)
~ The Follower from Mibuno (Loyalty)
~ Trio of Iga (Working together, or maybe...the oldest is the most dependable?)
I really should get back to Stalwart Silver too. That is also a short story of about three chapters.
Yes, United We Soar and SolAka too. I seriously want to get back to the latter. They crossed my mind just as much as the Seishin stories. I thought UWS would be easier to do with its 1st person perspective, but I struggle with the complexity of the Strike Lancer. I think there's something I need to complete with the armaments.
