Inferiority complex. Iga style practitioner and heir of Tsukimori family. Shou is a cheerful, handsome young man who doesn’t like the recurring violence across Japan. Like many men, he is reared since childhood by father to accomplish his family's legacy. However, deaths in family, had led to Shou to become a little fainthearted. There isn’t full confidence in abilities, including in leadership and in fighting skill and his worries often comes from other people. His parents are strong, Hayate is probably a man long before his time, Yoshizo’s an excellent sharpshooter, Kyoushirou is better period. Kyou often harasses him too.
Bravery can muster itself when it wishes. Even with such weaknesses, he is good in a ninjutsu study. He finds self-defense important but doesn’t agree with defying the armies as it’ll create more trouble. Maybe he is not fully confident with the mountain sanctuary.
[ About the Cowardice ]
.Every time he trained, he would see his friends, his mother and father smile, and that gave him warmth. The developments in anxiety seem to emerge until later. There was the trauma of nearly losing his father four years ago, and when intruders attacked him. Seeing others progress more than him, seeing others overbear him, filled the boy with envy. Rather than using that envy or inferiority to commit himself into doing better for his sake, it pulled him to the ground in complete pity. He really had an easily intimidated spirit, or perhaps it was a gift? Saizo or Hayate would tell him it’s good to have a good heart.

[ History ]
Shoutarou was born in an independent mountain farmer village installed in northern Iga Province, Japan. His family, the Tsukimori, are said to be one of the founders of the village, living as farmers, artisans, and hermit priests while evading the Yamato-Imperial families. The monks’ and farmers’ self-defense styles were incorporated into the tactical genius of Chinese immigrants, and centuries later would form into the art of shinobi. In warring days, fear was a bound, and taxation and military employment were expensive.
In such times, Shoutarou worked as a farmer – and in later years, began training under a Sohei or monk warrior. He also learned how to play the Shakuhachi (flute). In 1565, Shou's father Ryo was killed in Omi Province gathering Intel in Azai clan territory, and his position in the Iga Sokoku Ikki (a republic council of 12 representatives formed to sponsor the Iga) had to be replaced.
There was hesitation to pick Shou due to his lack of experience and spirit, and he needed to further prove himself. Also, the Sokaku Ikki was being hunted by Ieyasu's rivals...and another party. The Ikki were shifting the balance of war and their powers were dangerous when it’s been noticed that unconventional forces were at work.

Adopted into Iga when samurai chased him to the mountains when daimyo figured out his retainer parents (retainer family of Taira/the 1st Hojo - Kamakura that helped rival Minamoto descent-Ashikaga family, little before Genpei War. Minamoto defeated Taira; Ashikaga was a branch part of Minamoto-Seiwa Genji, which betrayed Kamakura and fought with Imperial *thumbs up* Taira are gone but Oda says he descends from Taira) were offering info to the ninja. Parents were killed as traitors. Yamana clan, rivals of Toki, wanted to claim the shogunate. (TOO long ago, Doggie).
He and family are adept with military strategy. Great at using a blowgun (fukiya), sword and a favorite weapon is a manriki (bell chain). Likes hang gliding; smart person. His char provides the lesson of not giving into revenge easily but ambitious and loyal to family, especially if strategies are used against hateful enemy. That is why heart is high and one of the most skillful genin. Accused of being traitor in "traitor arc" because of history.

Is one of Iga’s Sandai Jounin (三大上忍) or 3 Grand Jounin and a noble in Iga county that leads the shinobi in secret. This is along with Hanzo and Nagatonokami. Who is Sandayuu? (三太夫). While Hattori is away in Mikawa, it’s this guy who commands.

Member of Iga’s 3 grand families, the Hattori shizoku (氏 族).A military commander and Tokugawa vassal during Azuchi-Momoyama era. There seemed to have been four Hattori Hanzo. The first one’s real name seems to be Hattori Yasunaga（服部 保長, はっとり やすなが), who moved to Mikawa and didn’t learn ninjutsu. It derived from Iga family of Chigachi (千賀地) and changed a name to Hanzo when it joined Tokugawa? Yasunaga served Ashikaga Yoshiharu in Mikawa, and Matsudaira Kiyoyasu (the grandfather of Matsudaira ieyasu?). Also called the First Hattori Hanzo (初代 服部半蔵, ShodaiHattorihanzo). The second one is his eldest son, Hattori Masanari/”Masashige” (服部正成), 1542 - 1596, who used spears and was a military commander of common soldier. He lead Koka and Iga, and is probably the most popular. Chigachi is apparently one of the places with the branch families (ie: Hattori-Chika) and is probably the most popular. He helped with Ieyasu’s escape in Honnoji-Temple Incident (本能寺の変). Achieves 1st campaign at 16.

Real name or aliases are unknown; when he is addressed, he will be called "Lord Fujibayashi" A descendent of this person created a famous book "Bansenshukai" that conveys the image of ninja and ninjutsu. Seems to live in a Iga region called "Yufune" (湯舟郷)?? It is in Ayama (north eastern) area?

A mother (母上) of Shotarou & Yua, is calm and collected (冷静沈着な性格). The long rivalry between the Koga and Iga is firmly manifested when she cuts off the head of the Koga monster's sidekick and burnt with revenge. Headmaster of Iga (伊賀 宗家, iga-souke). Not much is known about him; only one important thing should be realized thought, the family head to this one man, this jounin. Has a sword name Goemon (右衛門). Is one of Iga’s Sandai Jounin (三大上忍) or 3 Grand Jounin and a noble in Iga county that leads the shinobi in secret. This is along with Hanzo and Nagatonokami. Who is Sandayuu? (三太夫). While Hattori is away in Mikawa, it’s this guy who commands.

Member of Iga’s 3 grand families, the Hattori shizoku (氏 族).A military commander and Tokugawa vassal during Azuchi-Momoyama era. There seemed to have been four Hattori Hanzo. The first one’s real name seems to be Hattori Yasunaga（服部 保長, はっとり やすなが), who moved to Mikawa and didn’t learn ninjutsu. It derived from Iga family of Chigachi (千賀地) and changed a name to Hanzo when it joined Tokugawa? Yasunaga served Ashikaga Yoshiharu in Mikawa, and Matsudaira Kiyoyasu (the grandfather of Matsudaira ieyasu?). Also called the First Hattori Hanzo (初代 服部半蔵, ShodaiHattorihanzo). The second one is his eldest son, Hattori Masanari/”Masashige” (服部正成), 1542 - 1596, who used spears and was a military commander of common soldier. He lead Koka and Iga, and is probably the most popular. Chigachi is apparently one of the places with the branch families (ie: Hattori-Chika) and is probably the most popular. He helped with Ieyasu’s escape in Honnoji-Temple Incident (本能寺の変). Achieves 1st campaign at 16.

One of the three jonin. Nagano-no-kami is a title (provincial leader) and not a real name; it is possible that "nagano" is the place he is in charge of, thus the name. Real name or aliases are unknown; when he is addressed, he will be called "Lord Fujibayashi" A descendent of this person created a famous book "Bansenshukai" that conveys the image of ninja and ninjutsu. Seems to live in a Iga region called "Yufune" (湯舟郷)?? It is in Ayama (north eastern) area?
