Inspired by forum RPGing...
"Looking at current Naruto (canon), the Inuzuka are really rough and tumble. Kiba is all for being loudmouthed, energetic and attacking things head out- he's prideful too. In a flashback, his mom DOES beat him up a bit to get her point across. Very rough and tumble people. With me so far?"
"Yes"
"On our board? These people use to live out in the woods and worked with wolves - they're in rougher and more dangerous."
"Ah, ‘Board Canon’..."
"Even if your character had a different mother, his dad is still all Inuzuka, and probably used to live up in the woods. All his playmates, friends, neighbors are rough- my char is a girl and she's extremely rough."
====================
The quote above is from an old one-on-one conversation I had with a Naruto board’s bio moderator. She said that my Inuzuka character was not compatiable to their board, and it felt good. I thought I was alright, but not perfect; adaptable but not perfect. I dedicated to recreate my Inuzuka and make things inclined towards their tastes without argument. When denied, you want to recollect some of your past roleplaying times. I’m a little tired of it, but it can be helpful to remember your mistakes, and your so-called achievements. I say it that way because I was seen as a laughing joke; when you’re green you have very little say.
Anyways, because of what I said above, I want to talk about the personality or psychology of a character and how they effect a character’s structure. Also what effects them? How does it develop? It’s one of my favorite things to think over about (if I do).
NOTE: THIS IS INCOMPLETE!
...
NOTE: I like sociology, or maybe love it.

I did a little bit of it online: a little bit of "Forgotten Realms" and a little bit of "Council of Wyrms" © TSR. Not cool when you’re a new person. I hate dragons (another story)...but the Council of Wyrms was fun because of the draconic characters that you could play. They were lively characters, player characters; dragon clans ruled, demihumans were the middle class and the humans were enemy. The setting was a chain of islands; they were a wide range of terrian, open cities and subterrianian cities. The said setting belongs to the dragons, the demihumans and the humans.
The psychology of the dragons? There are different types, split into three draconic categories:
- Mettalic (Gold, silver, bronze, copper, brass)
- Gem (Amethyst, sapphire, emerald, topaz, crystal)
- Chromatic (Red, blue, green, black and white)
Two that intrigue me the most are the gold dragons and the red dragons.
Although the Reds and Silvers are similiar in power (statistics-wise ;p also intelligence), it is the Golds that the Reds see as the "greatest competition". Red Dragons are coveteous and live on applying both the use of fear and awesome self-confidence. Arrogance is a powerful psychological trait. Being so confident that they think the Golds are just "almost at their level". Their morals differ from Golds as well; they are also very large in size.
Gold dragons (Lawful Good) are sagely, self promotors of good understanding and likes to exhibit diplomacy to its finest. That is their passion; they are also the strongest mettalics, and stastically the strongest dragons. Their characters, from a selfless aspect, does make them seem arrogant as well. It makes them seem like their ways are legit, and the dragons themselves are also formidable.
A conflicting circle ensues.

Some stuff on bloodtype, and character examples (if I remember them):
SOURCE: http://daiquiribird.philsites.net/saiyuki/bloodtype.php
Type A - Methodical, Cerebral
Not a few A's project anality and the illusion of being worrywarts. These are the busybodies of a group, the ones so eager to get filled in on, if not get a hand into, the planning and organization of activities. However, they _do_ have that special ability to view difficult issues objectively, then stage the best attack strategy on the spot -- if they don't suffer a nervous breakdown first. A's are perfectionists, who see their projects through while mulling over small details.
Sometimes their focus and dedication to solving the challenges they face alienate them from the people they are close to, making them seem cold and aloof. And A people choose their loved ones carefully; their small posse of friends and supporters matters the world to them. Once A people have set aside their projects and their worries, they give their all to their personal lives, as if pleasing their partners is their next big project
EXAMPLES:
- Sanzo (Saiyuki)
- Kidoumaru (Naruto)
- Kimimaro (Naruto)
- 3rd Hokage (Naruto)
- Rock Lee (Naruto)
- Shinomori Aoshi (RK)
- Nina Williams (Tekken)
- Hayabusa Ryu (Ninja Gaiden series)
- Andy Bogard (Fatal Fury)
Type B - Temperamental, Emotional
B people feel very strongly about a lot of things, though they may not always be able to explain why. They are easy to hype, to shake off balance, to coerce into losing confidence in themselves. They may seem to be an emotionally unstable bunch, but they are actually only the most self-conscious and sensitive.
The most successful B people convert their tumultous feelings into energy that fuels their drive to excel. B artists are outstanding, once they are able to collect and focus their talent.
B people are ardent lovers. Once they have chosen an object of affection, they regard this person as if he/she were the pillar supporting their very existence. In love they demand much, and are extremely self-critical of their own attitudes, so that a lot of B people appear "torpe" (local word for "weak-hearted when it comes to confessing one's true feelings to the source of one's distress"). They prefer to express their frustration indirectly, as in burying their heads in their work or their arts.
EXAMPLES:
UZUMAKI NARUTO
Orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade
Konohamaru
Maito Gai
Akimichi Chouji
Inuzuka Kiba
Son Goku and Gojyo (Saiyuki)
Duo Maxwell (Gundam Zero)
Sagara Sanosuke (RK)
Leon & Christie (Dead or Alive series)
Christie Monteiro (Tekken series)
Shiranui Mai (Fatal Fury)
Type AB - Compassionate, Empathic
The AB person is a warm, huggable teddy bear: always there for you in your time of need. AB's make good supporters and charismatic leaders, being real "men/women of the masses." They generally make good guidance counselors. They forgive their transgressors at the drop of a sincere apology.
Their hearts go out easily to the weak, the innocent, and the defeated. The young AB often opts to mope over the emotional aspect of an issue (i.e., coworkers' distress, if this way is "the best way to go," etc) -- but this doesn't mean he/she doesn't act quickly to resolve a dilemma. Later in his/her life he/she is usually able to segregate "the most workable solution" from "the ideal solution" and be at peace with reality.
The AB showers his/her object of affection with attention, for it is probably the worst feeling in the world for him/her when a loved one is upset; if one cannot rub off hatred from the world, one can at least rub off hatred from one's own radius of movement.
EXAMPLES:
Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi
Himura Kenshin (RK)
Gaara
Sakon/Ukon
Aburame Shino
Uryuu Ishida (Bleach)
Seta Soujirou (RK; like seriously)
Ayame (Dead or Alive)
Kazama Asuka (Tekken)
Type O - Sexy, Charming
Most O's are fun-loving and carefree, preferring to leave the fuss over the future to the A's, the fuss over the past to the B's, and the fuss over the present to the AB's. Worrying is probably their least favorite strenuous activity -- though of course things to worry about pile up.
When they hit a speed bump in their lives, they turn to introspection; and then expect them to find a sympathetic ear to listen to their action-packed reminiscing as naturally as a dousing rod finds water. O's are lucky that way.
There's just something about O's that makes them so attractive. Perhaps it's the sense of goodwill radiating from their smiles, or their self-assured air. O's make outstanding stage performers, television personalities, pop idols...in other words, lives of the party. Quiet or boisterous, one thing's for sure: the O always looks so cool.
O's can be gullible. They are heartbreakers, but their hearts are easily broken. Fortunately for them, supporters are always at hand, so they don't stay down for very long. As lovers they can be pretty possessive; they know they have power over their partners, but they also know they aren't the only powerful O's in the world!
EXAMPLES:
Hatake Kakashi (YAY!)
Kurosaki Ichigo (or he's "AO" o-O; Bleach)
Uchiha Obito
Sarutobi Asuma
Temari
Haruno Sakura
Nawaki ("Don't tell a man to run!")
Kaioh Michiru/Sailor Neptune (SM)
Tina Armstrong and Zack (Dead or Alive series)

(If you're offended easily, don't read. Just in case))
Hardly think about this, but what the heck? How did I come across this? I was looking up Tenoh Haruka/Sailor Uranus...and ta-dah! I was doing so because I'm trying to provide a tomboy-ish voice for her in a fandub (if I get accepted).
...as soon as my throat stops acting up.
Anyways, Haruka-san is listed as "homosexual", which makes me think back on an interview I read about the seiyuu Ogata Megumi (*love*). When she was casted to play Haruka/Uranus, she asked the director, "...are they gay?"
"Just act as if they were a married couple."
"married...with two women?"
"Yeah!"
XD Oh Ogata-san....
I won't lie to you...I think it's a cute pairing
