Hello,

This is just a minor report. Nothing to upload yet but I am working on the drafts of Autumn Grove, SolAka, and Stalwart Silver. Since Silver hasn't received an update lately, I may finish its revision first. In fact, it has the most progress. After that is probably Grove; I am having trouble describing a temple and a mountain castle, but I have a basic idea of what happens.

Also, in the summaries of the Seishin series, I'm going to make the word "Seishin" capitalized and add a number next to it. The number will denote order in which it was created/uploaded. For now, there aren't any story sequels, but the starting stories are mainly character studies. More reveals on them, and more serious themes, will appear in later stories.

Does anyone have a personal problem with "United We Soar"? Please let me know. I do know that I make fun of stereotypes, but also, there is the subject about war, terrorism, and American politics. Read with discretion.

HELLO!

Forgive the lack of updates on FP.net. I recently did some updates for FF.net, so now I need to work on the drafts of my original works. I still need to update United We Soar (UWS) and Stalwart (SS), and also add a new Seishin Story. Seishin is going to have 108 stories and I'm still quite far away from that.

I am also working on the draft for SolAka's important next chapter.

The problem is the time, and the difficulty of most of these stories. Edit and revision takes forever and ever, and I'm still not fully confident. That's all for now. Please be patient.

Ideas for Seishin stories: About Izumo-no-kami, Kido Yazaemon and Sugitani Zenjubo, Shimotsuge Kizaru and Kozaru, and Kirigakure Saizo. I actually had two ideas for Saizo shorts! Not sure how all of them will work out.

Hello everyone. Please forgive me for being so slow. I am busy with both babysitting and work, but I need to update United We Soar, Stalwart, and add a new Seishin Story.

As for the Seishin series, my goal is 108 stories. ATM, I am doing character sketches. You might see some for Izumo no Kami Mochizuki, Shimotsuge Kizaru/Kozaru, Kirigakure Saizo and Kido Yazaemon.

The next chapter of SolAka is important so I need to work on that draft soon.

The draft of Heroic Blaze SolAka's new chapter is complete. Unfortunately, babysitting took up virtually my entire day (and attention), and I was unable to proofread the draft and see if it's close to ready for a final produce. Hopefully, later in the morning, I can return to it. It is over 4000 words.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hello 2013!

To those who are reading and/or enjoying my stories, or are just visiting my profile, I hope that all of you are doing well. Last year was rough and sluggish for me, and I still apologize for my terrible pace in updating. I have been busy with mostly family care and employment, plus I've have been lacking confidence in my writing. Furthermore, after finishing drafts, revision takes quite a bit of time. I hope that in the near future, that will change and that I will push more passion into writing.

I have a lot of original fiction planned. For this new year, I really want my shinobi fiction series, "Seishin" to progress. From story concepts to characters, I'm trying to put a lot of time and care into Seishin so that it can express Asian culture both accurately and attractively. Perhaps I should make it my goal to upload at least 10 or 15 Seishin stories this year? As for Heoric Blaze SolAka, I will not abandon it. I am still working on the next chapter; it's difficult, and i end up revising a lot, but it is enjoyable. I am also concerned for future chapters as the plot progresses throughout the invasion. Please look out for it.

Stalwart and UWS are short and will still take time. For some reason, I can't figure out an ending and I fear that the plots will be utilized quite weak. I am good at setup/exposition, but afterward takes quite a bit of time. This is also the same case with SolAka.

1.) Spell check all stories and poems. There is no excuse for not doing this. If you do not have a word processor that has the spell checking feature, use a search engine such as Google to find one.

2.) Proofread all entries for grammar and other aspects of writing before submission. 'Hot off the press' content is often riddled with errors. No one is perfect but it is the duty of the writer to perform to the best of his/her ability.

3.) Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticizes a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer has opted to spend his/her valuable time to help improve your writing.

4.) Everyone here is an aspiring writer. Respect your fellow members and lend a helping a hand when they need it. Like many things, the path to becoming a better writer is often a two way street.

5.) Use proper textual formatting. For example: using only capital letters in the story title, summary, or content is not only incorrect but also a disregard for the language itself.

Welcome to 2012, and please forgive me for starting off very slow. A small problem, the format box for editing my profile won't extend downward, so that's a bit annoying. Anyways, last week, I did a little bit of writing. I was supposed to upload both a NEW Seishin story and a new chapter for United We Soar, but I was only able to complete just one of them. The new ninja story includes the famous Hattori Hanzo, please enjoy, and I hope to upload a new UWS chapter.

Again, for those who are reading Heroic Blaze SolAka, I would like some feedback on its writing? Like, any troublesome grammar or spelling errors?

Current Condition:
1.) Been suffering from lack of confidence and a writing and creativity slump, but slowly trying to get out of it.

2.) One of my biggest faults must be simple sentence structure (grammar) and exposition.

3.) Poll is changed.

Well, it's the end of the year. 2012 is just a couple days away, so I'm going to reflect on what I've been doing. Or rather, I'm just going to talk about what I'm thinking about doing. This is just some ramble.

UNITED WE SOAR
Fiction: Action - Rated: M (mainly for language, crude/adult humor including innuendo, political themes.)
It's like a documentary.
I think this story has received the most progress. It was uploaded in May and I'm surprised that I managed four chapters in a span of four months considering how distracted I get. It also tested my stamina in researching the military. Everything was a little easy until I actually reached the introduction of the superfighter. The suggestive humor, referencing of real life war events and politics (ie: Communism), and the profanity is mainly what led me to pick the M rating. If you read this story, would you agree with it? Would you agree with Aiden? You don't have to, but would you get upset with me for the entire portrayal?

There will also be violent content. While blowing people from the sky during a dogfight might not seem awful when imagined (compared to soldiers getting blown up/shot), the aftermath is reported. There's also mention of PTSD. Aiden's GF in the next chapter will talk about that.

Seishin Chronicle
Rating various.
It's still difficult, but I'm glad to have uploaded something. I have five stories up, a few being fun and one being a bit serious. What worries me is that Mibuno, three SHORT chapters, took me three months. Because I was confident that it would be a short story, I mainly stayed focus on it to get it done, but my confidence went down the drain. I kept modifying it like I wasn't satisfied with what I was writing, like with before Seishin went on hiatus. I'm still not sure.

Jumping Monkey is about Sasuke. Looking forward to it. Really wanted to write about Sasuke.

I removed Passive Rivals since I didn't like it.

Autumn Grove is about a fictional Fuuma ninja. Had a little concern with it, as I don't want samurai to be always portrayed as incompetent. Also, would they run out of the city to check on a captured girl? My first idea was to make the girl the sister of a samurai. Also, if someone was captured, how many samurai would pursue? Name ideas I have for the samurai are Toranosuke (虎之助), Hiroaki and Terumaru.

The next story will be about HATTORI HANZO! It'll be humor.

Heroic Blaze SolAka
My last chapter was apparently uploaded back in June 2011. I really want to get back into this and I won't give up, but this is still a difficult story. Enjoyable, but difficult.

This short story is about a paladin boy. I put up a prologue to get my inspired to start. That's all I have for now. I have a little bit for the next chapter. Just need to expand it.

A little trouble. When logging in, the box where I edit my profile won't extend downward. Which means I can't see where I'm typing. What is going on?

Also, I'm going to remove "Passive Rivals". It's just..I think the word is "unanswerable"? It's cut short, Kyoushirou's anger would leave a reader confused, and I don't think it's written that well.

I might post something else later tomorrow.
