Demeter's temple stood between steep-sided grass mountains. A marble path lead towards the arced entrance leading towards the incline. From what Koga and the others were told, there were other temples -- "Gardens".
They will have to plow through them.
past halfway, there was a figure. Koga and group stop in their tracks, looking at who it was. His face was definitely familiar. There was a golden gaze that pieced through the thickest ice. The handsome man that entered the bookstore. Orchard hair and robe rippled through the breeze.
Koga: It's him again.
The man said nothing; his face was like steel. Unfriendly, much like when he was in the bookstore, he never showed a smile. Koga walked up to him.
Koga: Um...you are....it was Arion wasn't it?
Arion: Are you going to Demeter's Temple?
Kouga: Yeah. Um, I'm sorry. But we really got to go.
Koga said it to keep the man ignorant of the mission. An urgent mission; Koga passed by Arion. But this man was not ignorant. Suddenly, Arion's palm smacked into Koga's face. Pegasus was thrown back quite far. Arion has a lot of force.
Souma: What the hell was that for?!
Koga: Mr. Arion?!
Arion was not a normal townsfolk of Naxos. Suddenly, his unfriendly aura turned into something more imposing. Koga had a gut feeling about him back at the bookstore, and it was confirmed.
Arion: If you value your lives, turn back now.
The Saints now realize what was going on.
Arion: Battle is not allowed here, Saints of Athena. Turn back.
Ryuho: We can't do that Mr. Arion.
Arion: I will not allow you to raise a fist against her.
Souma: You don't like battle?! Then why did your goddess attack us with revived Saints?
Arion: It was her choice of will for what she admires. As her finest guardian, I stand before you.
Koga: You want to fight?!
Arion: So that you don't sully the gardens of Demeter, I will. I will in order to stop you.
Yuna: But if we don't stop her, there is a chance that the world will be destroyed. don't you care about that?
Koga: You won't even question that?
Koga: You're not going to stop us. We got to go through. Just as much as Demeter, Athena loves the human race. She doesn't want to see it destroyed. To keep that, we have to fight for her and go through.
Arion: Is it that what you believe? If that what your heart believes?
Koga and the others stare at Arion with determination. They defeated the revived saints after all. And with Haruto absent, nothing was going to change their mind.
Arion: I always hear about the "burning spirits of the goddess's youth". I suppose I can't stop you...from trying. But I warn you, it won't be simple.
