I've decided to do "Word of the Day" and "History of the Day" for my blog. Today's word is:

Annonate (verb for Annotation)
- TO give a critical or explanatory commentary or analysis
- TO add a comment to a text

Annotation Etymology: From Latin annotātiōnem, accusative singular of annotātiō (“remark, annotation”), from annotātus, perfect passive participle of annotō (“note down, remark”).

History of the Day

The Battle of Gettysburg. During the American Civil War between The Union and the Confederates, this battle began July 1st and ended July 3rd in 1863. It is considered the bloodiest battle in the war and was fought in Pennsylvania.
