Mary Sue test
http://www.springhole.net/quizzes/marysue.htm
What I did during boredom. I did Part 1 and Part 2 only.
You know, this Mary Sue test is insane. It's almost a little stupid to take it, but I know one thing -- your char will have a Mary Sue/Gary Stu trait or two. That does not make them bad however.
This just emphasizes how normal they are.
Tsukimori Shoutarou (月森 勝茶郎)
1.)
- Involve a noun or verb not usually used as a name, spelled normally or not?
(Tsukimori...I don't think is a common last name at all. It means "moon Forest", least how I spell it in Kanji. It kind of sounds like a place to me. Shoutarou is very acceptable.
2.)
- Does your character have a cool nickname or unique title/address?
I guess. It's called "Revival Shoutarou", because of his luck of not getting killed yet. But is it nothing he puts pride into.
5.)
- Is your character described, illustrated, and/or shown as exceptionally beautiful, cute, or handsome?
(I guess. I depict him as having a "close image of his beautiful mother".)
#12 would go to Sogabe or Saizo. Don't remember
14.) Has your character been in a lot of physical fights and/or battles, but doesn't have many noticable scars to show for it?
(I'll just click it. Haven't thought about this because I've been thinking of what injuries he would gain during the story. He does not picture him with any scars at the moment)
Okay, Shou's very human. What's with questions #17 up to 20?!
24.) Does your character voice political, social, and/or religious opinions which you share?
(Kinda. although the story starts in times of war, he prefers not to fight unless nessesary. In other words, a mind is naive, but there is a strong sense of justice. He is also sometimes hesitant to fight his rivallittle scared of him. Our religions are different, so I won't get into that. It is not entirely incorrect. The combat skills are developed to protect one another.)
- Shou is the opposite of 29.
44.) Ah, the sound of music! Does your character...Play a musical instrument very well?/Is this instrument a guitar, harp, or flute?
(I don't know about "very well" but clicked it anyways because a skill is good enough. He plays a Shakuhachi, which is a 1.8' bamboo flute. It sounds pretty and common with Suizen monks)
45 - 54 can be skipped entirely
65. Is your character royalty, closely related to a royal, or at least a rough equivalent? (President, governor, etc.)
(I'm still thinking about it. Tsukimori may be one of the pretige families of the Iga in some one. One member is apart of the 12-representative council the "Iga Sokoku Ikki")
No desicion made with 70
73.) Has your character otherwise lost...Close Friend?)
(There is plenty of war. Since it's Warring States peroid/Sengoku, I'm sure Shou and people he knows so get involved in dangerous situation. Goverment is broken too. So I will check this. I wonder if his father could be close to this?).
80.) Does a major villain have a personal fixation/obsession with your character?...Something that has to do with your character's family, and not your character him/herself?
(For the latter part, I think it is both.)
82.) Would you like to be friends with your character?
(This sounds like a very cute question a reader or fan would think up. If faced with this, maybe I'd say yes)
84.) Do you feel insulted, attacked, or defensive when someone does not like your character?
(No, why? I can't wait actually. People may find him a big wimp)
[ PART 2 ]
4.) Do characters who criticize or don't like your character from the start like him/her by the end, or at least have a grudging respect?
I don't know yet
TOTAL: 16
0-16 Points
Most likely Not-Sue. Characters at this level could probably take a little spicing up without hurting them any.
