Seishin Prose (unfinished)
Unlike many others, I don't have the type of blog where I post down completed works. Instead, even though it's rare, I put down drafts that have the potential of becoming something. It may or may not; I jsut think of something and want to jot it down.
The Seishin Series in my mind is quite large, and I often develop small random ideas on what I want to put in writing.
Since this is just drafting, it won't look good at all. I'll come back and edit.
Also, this is a lot of abstract text?
This can be a spoiler for a future story If you don't want to see, please leave:
Friends Kazezane and Ryotaro were the same; ji-samurai, husbands and fathers, the leaders of their families. The people of Iga and Koga, despite their differences, made a vow to protect one another during danger. However, as their services were in demand, and if their services led to the consequence that they had to face one another...
Would it be for nothing?
This is before the Alliance of Tokugawa and Oda. It was a blazing Summer day; Kaze and Ryo lay on a hill, staring up at the clear sky. The peace belied the current age where the Iga and Koga were constantly employed into danger. Kaze didn't agree with the aggression, despite his warrior heritage.
"What is peace?" Kaze asked; his face matched his tone, tired, or solemn.
"These times came because there are men who cannot ignore the voices of a great opportunity in front of them. Power and competence is needed for cooperation, to live."
"My father and brothers always said to not be lenient in these days."
