I am a writer in spirit and I can never leave it. There's no "buts" or "howevers".
It's just that the situation hasn't changed and much of my time is being taken. I have a lot of stories and little time; I can only work on one at a time and short chapters don't get anywhere much. In most cases, these "short chapters" extend over the intentional word count.
Not sure what to do right now.
I think it's important to value positive mental health for starters.
