1.) The Jumping Monkey
:: Historical - Rated: K+ - Drama/Humor
Not sure where mild language

Mentions of death...of course. xD While I don't explain how, I do say that the mother is "brutally murdered". Is that acceptable? This is mainly a training story, and Sasuke being rude to Tozawa (lol).

2.) The Follower from Mibuno
::Historical - Rated: K+ - English - Friendship/Drama
There will be minor action violence (from a spar; use of weapons; bdoy contact), but mostly casual friendly interaction between two youths. No bad language.

3. Autumn Grove
:: Rated: M - English - Tragedy/Drama
While the first two stories are more light-hearted, this is a violent story. It also includes a naked young woman (non-explicit sexual themes). Bad Language might be present; of course, strong violence or so I will attempt.

I like History.

So I thought of posting information on important political parties (mostly American) and the difference between them.

How are political views written and accepted in fiction?

===

I posted THIS in an old entry.

This is my focus for United We Soar:

In accordance to FictionRatings (or I'm attempting it), these are my thoughts on the ratings and genre:

- As a military fiction, "United We Soar" will be "Rated M" mainly for its "strong language" and "references to political, social and religious content" just to be on the safe side.

There is also the mention of 9-11 (what psychological impressions will the story have?). Politics do play a role in the story's center conflict. The Middle Eastern "religious" battles and terrorism are mentioned as well. Will America's reason for fighting seem justified to a reader? Aiden will question himself about that, also the use of nuclear power for weapons, what it means to be American (and patriotic). Also, religious views from Aiden and Claire; theroys of historical events from Aiden; stereotyping thoughts/jokes from Aiden, Steele and Ace. In other words, story may be controversial. I don't think the violence will seem that terrible, but that's still a long way. Sub-Category will be Action. The Genre(s) will be drama/sci-fi. (see below). UWS slightly takes place in the future. Also, The Main Squadron in the story are racially diverse.

New Blog theme. I like green.

Just an update on what I'm doing. My most developed pieces, meaning what I've been working on so far (taking the most of my focus and may be close to being finished), are:

  • First chapter of "United We Soar"

  • First chapter (out of maybe 3?) of the next Seishin story

- The Seishin story that is coming up, title undecided, is on the lighter side and may be either "Rated K+" or "Rated T". Sub-Category will be Historical. The Genre(s) will be Friendship, but 2nd genre is unknown.

What's taking long?
- Writing's block, and both are chapters for the two stories that I had the most problem with so far. Lots of research takes up a lot of my time too and I shoot for an interesting read. Also, sci-fi elements in United We Soar. Some technology used is fictional.

- I had been working on them because I was recently given a jump in enthusiasm, inspired by Japan's current tragedy and how they are facing it with all their spirit.

- Seishin Trouble: Japanese culture, function on social classes, basically writing it to make it believable. It will be short.

- UWS: Trying to really make sure I understand nuclear power and aircraft. Since aircrafts are complex, I'll try not to dig deep into it too much. The story was inspired by my long love of airplanes though.
