Just some trivia. I'm going to post info on the titles of Gold Saint affiliated with Mars, officially or not. You can also check YAHOO Q&A (Japan). Seiya is not listed.

Slight spoilers if you have never seen Omega. You'll know if you read DAWN OF END.

I came up with the idea of showing excerpt of stories using photos.

I did a fanfic based on Future GPX Cyber Formula, particularly on its OVA series "Zero". Only a few people, or at least I know about two (Car dummy Miki Shinichiro did one as well?), has done Cyber Formula fics. That is especially in English.

And since I was impressed with the series, the TV show being smart and about a boy and a machine, and the OVA being dramatic with interesting visuals (my fun slowly being thrown away like shoveled sand due to bad subs, repeated footage, and Asurada oversteering its tail nearly into a circle and passing through a curve successfully to pass also, no K-sensei...), AND since I like cars, I wanted to go for it.

Spoilerish about ZERO series, but if you don't mind )

RC Type!

Game footage. A nice rivalry against Knight Shumacher. There's also Kaga, Shinjyo, Hayato, and I think Hiyama Nobuyuki's character, Andrea. It's hard to tell because he has a scar on his forehead. Sounds like him. BGM is Identity Crisis.

I'm Twitting right now.

Watching the first episode of Monster Rancher (Farm) in Japanese.

Questions I'd like to ask and (when I have time) answer myself. Just something to think over:

Why do I like BACCANO?
Why do I like BASILISK?
Why do I like Y + M?
Why do I think will male a good ninja story?
How to make a compelling story line/plot?
What causes negative criticism?
Why am I slow in thinking up plot (or why do I find it difficult?)

My Goal for this week is Howl of Gray Wolf's next chapter. I am sorry for not working on it earlier and I'm not back to my bad procrastinating habits. So I need to grab my notebook and work on the outline for the next chapter called "Decision". Also, while my stories progress, I will want to add the chapters to my Wikia.

But, I am having trouble making tables for them like what is used for TV episodes and comic volumes/chapters. What do I need to do? I hope to figure it out soon.

Who is ready for videos? Videos about mostly flying? TEN videos?!

That'll get your blood burning, and I think gets me in a good mood. Also gets me in a good mood when developing United We Soar. It still bums me that I can't get that story rolling yet.

Anyways, my NARUTO rant is over. Not into that kind of thing, and shortly after that I checked on other people about what they think about NARUTO. Let's not remain in that subject any longer. Let's talk a little about this "ninja series" that I may develop.

- So, my motif is the lives of the Koga (koka), Iga, and Fuuma ninja in the Sengoku Peroid, how they lived and how they were used.

- Realism is the goal, and the logic and cunning of the shinobi with limited accessories will decide whether they survive or not against their enemies. Mythological elements will be allowed but shouldn't be commonly seen, like magic and such.

- No superhumans or scientific experiments. Firearms may be allowed.

- I MIGHT use a few Japanese terms like (dono, hahaue, genin).

- It is important to know that I must not type like the reader immediately knows what I'm talking about. I am hoping for an array of readers. Anime reader or not, don't care. Matter of fact, I think aniem readers are fed up with the FictionPress. Anyways! Readers! If they like war, they may like it; Japanese history, history or Feudalism it can be parallel to Europe Feudalism.

- Iga and Koga have some kind of rivalry; Fuuma hates Iga?

- "Pilot Chapter" (abbrv. "PLCT") may talk about revenge and a monster. Will introduce one family of the Iga, Tsukimori. One member is named Tsukimori Shoutarou (月森 勝茶郎)

Just throwing some ideas out there.

NEW TAG: Chronicle

MGW here, annoucing a possible new project and once I get some details done, I will work on a so-called "pilot chapter". I will mention again that for now it will be a standard for me to type short chapters, like maybe under 2500 or 3000 words.

==============

So, while working on TOF, I've decided to think of a series based on ninjas and real-life Japan in the Warring Stares Era. Why is Japanese history and a being of various interpretations arrest my attention so much? That is good question.

My watching of anime would eventually lead to me being curious about how the things I've watched/seen are composed together.

I like some anime because I like cartoons. Easy, eaaaaaaasssy; I don't think you can bitch about that. It doesn't have to be the best. Matter of fact, there has been many many times where I can't find myself watching entire anime series. Maybe it's boring, doesn't suit my fancy, too cutesy, too slow, I need a good hook.

I find Mobile Suit Gundam 00 generic but okay to follow because it's close to current real-life events.

I like NARUTO, but....

NARUTO rant cont )

I'll admit it. I like those ninja guys because of childhood, but back then they shared a stereotype. I'm looking for something with smarts and logic, something realistic, and not superhuman martial artists like NARUTO and BASILISK (somewhat). Like hwo did they achieve their missions and how did they create the reputation that we so known much about? Also, something graphic.

There is another reason why I want to do this. I'm playing in a few D&D games online and this caught my attention: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Ninja_DnD_Class

Chuunin exams, flak jackets, genjutsu, special jounin are NARUTO STUFF. Is NARUTO so outspread that it has become the new cool stereotype?

Pretty frustrated lately. I'm having difficulty with job search and my confidence and desire to finish my fanfiction is very fickle. Ironically, I've been caught up in TEXT-based RPG. Isn't that something? But I don't think that requires more passion than a fanfic, atl east not where I am now.

FF.NET and FP.NET has something new here:
* Polls
* Reader Traffic (of author)
* DocX

Reader Traffic tells me how many people went to my profile page or clicked on my stories each month. And huh, a visitor from Vietnam? I received the most hits on August 8th; I hope they are not counting me visiting, but I don't think I returned to FF anytime this month up til now.

Fanfic wise, HOGW received the most hits; TOF is second place but the hits are much lower. Hmm, maybe that does compel me to work on it.

DocX is a file sender, and beta reader gives you the responsibility of reading other words and giving the author a critique. I'm not up to that.

Also...

YOU KNOW WHAT?!

You know what I need to do? I need to stop saying words like "maybe" and "think". It expresses insecurity and not resolve.

Anyways, let's start that right now. Let me speak with resolve and as someone who knows how to look forward. I will start by saying that I should re-write "Howl of Gray Wolf". Simotaneously, I will work on TOF's chapter 13 and ideas on the new rewrite. How does that sound?

Here are the current chapters and what a small sentence on what happens in them:

HOGW chapters )

Also, I could use an exclusive term to represent my stories and its common themes, such as "Tiger Generation" Tigeration? (both Grey Wolf and Tiger were main characters) or "Team Hero Monster" or "Mon Hero Friends", where the motif is working together. Yes, the names are VERY corny, but I was out of ideas and I just wanted to give out a quick example. Also, the stories are simple and it may contiune to be? Like the anime except more mature due to the violence and language.

There is very very little blood in the Monster Rancher anime and some of the violence seem comical or not that bad. It's kind of silly what the American version has decided to cut out; the biting, whipping, getting blown over by lasers, and the characters flinching when they are hurt does look painful...but I don't think that compares to say poor Tiger spasming from the Black Worm poison, Holly getting cut by the needle or..what else? Can't think of any. In addition, they did cut some scenes out for the commercials.

Gray Wolf

I just added this to my profile, check it out:

In Japanese, Gray Wolf's name is 『ギンギライガー』 or "gingiraiga" (Silver Raiga?); "Raiga" is Tiger in Japanese by the way. In the anime, he is the younger brother of Tiger/Raiga and is one of the Big BAD FOUR (english version) or 『ワルモン四天王』 (Japanese version; "warumon shintenou" OR Evil Mon Four Devas/Heavenly Kings).

Hooray for the dictionary! Gray Wolf is voiced by Scott McNeil in the english version and Nakamura Daiki in Japanese version.

I like Naruto, and I also like Japanese myth. Perhaps romanticism fancies me? I've been curious about it's tailed demons. I think I found the answer. The number lists their amount of tails.

1:(One Tail): Shukaku (Tanuki/Racoon Dog)
2: Seiryuu (Dragon)
3: One kind of similar mouse! Has a tail! But carries on the back two (What the f***?). Behind actually does not have the tail..O-o;;; (This is a weird one)

4: A little clear color red bird! The suspicion is Suzaku! (A Ho-oh/Phoinex)
5: Likely tiger. But is not the white (Byakko). Really 5 Tails!
6: Shark.. Really. The ultra terror has 6 tails and 3 heads!
7: Genbu. Firmly said. The Carapace opened 7 holes all to have tails (Genbu/Xuan Wu is a tortosie)

8: Likely monkey...(I wouldn't be surprised)
9: Kyuubi (Fox)

Possible Differences:
Two Tails: Nekomata (A magic cat that can control the dead)

Oh yeh, here's something I found:
